FishEye is a sleek, revolutionary navigation component featuring stack buttons, fluid zooming behavior, impressive animation effects, comprehensive client events and dozens of customizable behaviors.
Sleek user interface, outstanding UX
FishEye is a high performance docking navigation control, featuring a modern design and interactive animation. The recently revamped zoom animation is driven by Silverlight 2.0 and provides a sleek, smooth sensation with no distortion to adjacent buttons.
One of the most impressive features in FishEye is its ability to display stack buttons similar to those available in the Mac OS X Leopard. The stack button allows users to quickly select an item from a button while providing an elegant user experience.
FishEye now provides a new Fluid background behavior in addition to the default Fixed behavior. In Fluid mode, the Dock’s background will automatically shrink and grow as the zooming process takes place.
FishEye offers much more than just a docking navigation control. Designed to add unsurpassed user-friendliness to your enterprise web applications, it offers a rich variety of UI elements, including buttons, tooltips, separators, and button indicators.
FishEye is the industry’s first commercial-ready component to delivers these innovative concepts and breakthrough features. Together with Microsoft Silverlight™, you can easily add amazing visual effects that were never before possible in web applications.
When you need to maximize available screen real estate, just enable AutoHide. The FishEye control automatically hides the idle time limit is reached. The control can be brought back instantly when needed by simply mousing over the edge of the dock position. This convenient feature is also easily customized.
FishEye’s unique docking system includes the ability to dock to any side of the screen. All FishEye features automatically adapt to the Docking position, adjusting the zoom animation and other visual effects as needed.

Enterprise-level features
In addition to its incredible visual appeal, FishEye has features designed to support the most demanding application needs, including support for data binding and item templating.
Silverlight 3 ready
Silverlight 3 introduces new element binding feature that simplifies the binding between multiple User Interface objects. Leveraging this new feature, you can now easily populate FishEye items from various data sources – such as WcfDataSource and DomainDataSource – with a simple declarative syntax.
The .NET RIA Services is a new extension in Silverlight 3 that provides robust client-server architecture which simplifies line-of-business RIA development. With full .NET RIA Services support in FishEye, you can easily build interactive and dynamic navigation controls that display items from database.
FishEye now fully supports Out of Browser, a new feature in Silverlight 3 for building RIA applications that run on the desktop. It enables the application to be placed in a restricted store on the user’s machine; and then provide a link directly to it from the user’s desktop or start menu for quick access.
