What's New in 2010
2010 is a big year for Studio for SharePoint and its individual Web Parts. We have just introduced 2010’s second release, which features boosted performance, useful chart enhancements, and usability improvements. Below is everything we have introduced in 2010.
Web Part load times are now minimized to next to nothing. Give them a try. You will be impressed.
When connecting to SharePoint lists, choose from any of the list views that have been configured.
If you already have another ComponentOne Web Part on a page, you can simply use that as a data source rather than configuring a new one.
Group data, perform calculations (sum, average, etc.), and show the results on charts.
Since some chart types make the most sense when using row-based data and others should use column-based data, the ComponentOne Chart Web Part allows you to choose which to use. Now, the Web Part will automatically choose for you based on the chart type.
Get all of the ComponentOne Web Parts in one package plus online support and a one-year renewable subscription that entitles you to anything we release as part of the Studio. That means you get maintenance updates, new features, and even new Web Parts at no extra cost.
All Web Parts can use Excel files as a data source. You don't need Excel Web Services which means you can use Excel even if you don't have Microsoft Office SharePoint Server (MOSS).
Select Oracle tables and views to display with all of the ComponentOne Web Parts. Just point and click. No need to worry about coding a connection.
Use ComponentOne DataGrid for SharePoint to edit and add data to SharePoint lists, SQL Server, Excel, and Oracle.
Display columns in the DataGrid the way you want. Use the On-Board Designer to specify data formats, set column widths, show images, display hyperlinks, set up grouping, and more.
